We may also collect data regarding customer activities on our website. Use and storage of collected personal data

With the help of collected personal data, we can inform customers about MATIGOLD’s product news, campaigns, and upcoming events. A customer who does not wish to be on our newsletter list or receive notifications about products that may interest them can remove themselves from the target recipient group at any time.

We also use the collected personal data for the delivery of goods and to fulfill obligations assumed toward the customer.

By agreeing to the terms of the privacy policy, the customer grants MATIGOLD consent for the automated processing of their data. You may always withdraw your consent via our website or by submitting an application in a format reproducible in writing. The application or withdrawal of consent does not have retroactive effect.

To provide better customer service, MATIGOLD may disclose information about individual users to a third party who provides services to MATIGOLD and is contractually obligated to keep the shared information confidential. Such third parties include, for example, our partners responsible for the transport of goods sold in the e-shop or for providing installment loan services.

MATIGOLD retains the customer’s personal data until the termination of the loyal customer agreement. Data that MATIGOLD is obligated to retain pursuant to legislation (e.g., accounting data) is retained by MATIGOLD based on the requirements set forth in the legal acts.

Modification of collected personal data

Personal data collected for identifying and contacting the customer can be viewed, changed, and supplemented on our website in the “My info” area.

Protection of personal data

MATIGOLD implements all precautionary measures (including administrative, technical, and physical measures) to protect the customer’s personal data. Access for the purpose of modifying and processing the data is restricted to authorized persons only.

If you suspect that your personal data has been handled contrary to what is described in this privacy policy, or if there is a risk that your data has leaked to unauthorized persons, please inform us immediately. This is the only way we can keep any potential damage as minimal as possible.

The customer has the right to demand the termination of the processing of their data, information regarding the use of the data, and the transfer of the data to themselves or to a third party in a commonly used format. To prevent the misuse of customer data and rights, requests may only be submitted in a format where the identity of the applicant is identifiable (digitally signed or signed in person at a representative office). We have the right to respond to such requests within 30 days.

We treat the request to terminate data processing as an application to terminate the loyal customer agreement.

Security

All personal data of the customer disclosed during visits to and purchases from the MATIGOLD e-shop are treated as confidential information. An encrypted data communication channel with banks ensures the security of the purchaser’s personal data and bank details.

By starting to use our website or by completing the loyal customer application, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to these principles and terms. We reserve the right to change the general terms of the privacy policy as necessary, notifying all loyal customers, but we will do our best to keep our privacy policy up to date and available to you on our website.
